The Descent of the Mondego between Penacova and Coimbra is the best known kayak-trip in Portugal. The river is known for its beautyfull environment and very easy to descend, for all ages.

O Pioneiro do Mondego organises the descents already for more than 20 years. The Company was founded in 1988 by a Belgian couple, being the first company organising activities of this kind in Portugal. Therefore our company has the necessary experience to garantee a relaxing day, in perfect safe surcumstances.
